This is supposed to be a PSP car charger, It most certainly is NOT. It was a sidekick charger. At least thats what it was labeled as when it came. But, I have a sidekick and it doesn't even fit that! Waste of money, I got it around Christmas, so things were to hectic to send it back...Lost my $$$. |

I bought this to be a car charger for my son's PSP.
To start with, the picture is NOT the same as the charger you receive. The picture shows the chord and plug as one piece. Not true.
Here's the problem. The charger actually comes in 2 parts- the part that plugs into the car and the chord. The chord connects to the plug via a USB connection, which is very loose. So, if you're charging your PSP while it sits by a computer (via the USB connection), no problem.
HOWEVER, if you use this in the car, the least bit of tension pulls the chord out of the plug. The chord is about 18 inches when not strectched. So, if you plan to sit 18 inches from the plug in your car and you do not plan to move at all, you're good to go. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Of course, a final note is that, because of the low price on this item, it's a wash to return it to Amazon (they deduct shipping charges if it's not their fault for the return), so I'm stuck with this $6+ piece of garbage. |
