Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII

This is one absolutely fantastic gaming experience. You are literally dropped into an aerial combat arena to face the enemy head on. You must defend realistic sites in London, Hawaii, the Pacific and Europe. This game is challenging enough to satisfy the most experienced gamer. The graphics are extremely realistic and rich in detail. The campaigns are challenging, and even the arcade and ace battles will tax your skill levels. There is no "easy" level on this, so you'd better be really skilled at gaming and strategy, especially when you get to Rabaul. (You can't just fly away.) The "Top Secret' mission will test your piloting skills. This is, without a doubt, one of the most excellent aerial dogfighting games on the market today, you will not be unhappy if you purchase it. The only unrealistic thing about it was that you never run low on fuel or ammo, but at least that makes for longer game play! Good luck and Good Hunting!

its a great game. great planes and graphics, but a couple levels are hard

I just purchased this game and after playing it I wish I had looked at the customer reveiws first. Although it isn't a really bad game, it is at best mediocre compared to others of this genre. The controls are not as solid as in other aerial shooters. The throttle control is a real pain and the fact that the bombs and rockets automatically replenish takes away some of the challenge. The graphics and sound are good and the missions are pretty interesting. I haven't flown all the planes yet but it looks to have a wide variety of British and American planes. Good game but wait for the "Platinum" version or buy it used.

When i played this game, it was very fun at first. You learn how to drop bombs and dogfight. As you get passed training you start doing missions such as protecting a certain objective or destroying an oncoming bomber raid. These missions can get repetitive. One mission you have to fly around and take pictures of 3 enemy camps, sounds simple right? Wrong! You are supposed to listen for enemy radios and use that to aid u, but there is no bar or gauge so it really is quite useless.There is a giant dust storm clouding your whole vision. Also computer players will keep saying the same taunts the whole game. I must of heard "My mechanic flys better then you!" a couple hundred times. The graphics on the other hand are amazing. Probably some of the best for this console. The multiplayer is fun, espically when you get all your buddys to play. Xbox live is a different story. Good luck finding anyone else on. I tryed a few times and no server lists poped up. Overall the single player is O.K while the multiplayer is good if your not hoping for other people to get on Xbox live to play it with you. You might want to rent this just to check it out, but I wouldn't go out and buy this right away.

If you liked Secret Weapons Over Normandy, you'll LOVE this game. Excellent graphics- almost movie-like. Lots of planes to fly, great multiplayer modes and XBOX Live! Outstanding flight controls and sound effects. Worth the money, and a permanent stay in your game collection. If anyone tells you it's a bad game, don't listen, they're lying.
