Action Replay GBA/DS

I've been using this item myself and I've sold more than 30 of these units online through eBay and Amazon. I've never had any problem with it not working or failing, nor have any of my customers complained about problems either. When I initially tried to use it, it wouldn't work properly, but after going over the instructions a few times, I found out what the problem was and it was basically I was doing it wrong. Additionally, you can find tons of codes for this unit over the net. Some are made by Datel and others are created by individuals. You just need to do a search online for what you need. Just remember that this item can potentially damage your save file, however I've never had this problem nor have my customers. Additionally, I've never seen it actually damage a cartridge itself. Typically, if the game is freezing when you use it, you can simply stop using the unit and the game should function properly. Finally, as others have pointed out, this is really intended for use with GBA games more than DS titles. Part of the wording is because it can be used either with the old GBA systems or a Nintendo DS. While you may find some games on the DS that this will work for, if you are looking for a cheat device to use exclusively with DS games then you are better off buying the Action Replay for the DS that comes with a DS card instead of one that plugs into the GBA slot.

Well I'm going to start with this. I cheat in my games a lot. I was eager to cheat in my DS games with this new product. However, once I opened it, I found it slotted into Slot 2, the GBA slot on my DS. Confused, I continued along, but was horrified when I found that all it did with the DS games was manage and download saves. The GBA codes worked better than they did with my old AR, but I was still disappointed.

This is a pretty lame device if you use it how your supposed to, but if you open it up, solder two prongs together, extract a save file, place it on your pc, then you can modify that save file with the right software! I got loads of awesome stuff hacking the save files in Animal Crossing: Wild World by modifying save files on the game card, and using the AR as a gateway from my pc to my DS. UNLESS YOU ARE AS SMART AS I AM, NOOBS, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THE HARDWARE OF YOUR AR MAX DOU. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE.

I used this game for only 10 days when is stsrted gliching and freezing up. I sent it back to the company 10 days ago, and haven't heard a thing from them.
