Cranium  Super Fort

I bought this for my sons 1st birthday. He loves it. I enjoy the time spent putting it together with him and his 6 yr old sister. His 6yr old sister loves it too and this was a way for the 2 of them to have fun together since they are so far apart in ages.
The ups to the fort are any age can enjoy this. Your imagination runs wild trying to find new things to build. Brings people together. Easy to put together. The animals even like it.
Now the down falls are that it says 3 and up. Yes my 1 yr old loves it but I wont let him unattended since there are magnets involved. It is a bit wobbly but the kids don't care. The floor pieces are I think its biggest downfall. They don't fit well together, they hurt when trying to chase your kid on your knees due to the metal in them and they come out of the connectors to easily. Overall it is a great idea.

The superfort has been one of the best toys we own, because there are so many ways to play with it. My kids (4 and 2 years old) can play with it together to make forts, tunnels, puppet theaters, rocket ships, etc.
I may get another one for Christmas next year, so they have even more options!

My children love this toy. They use their imaginations and build whatever comes to their minds. They build forts, ships, dog houses, under the sea caves....the possilbities are endless. When their friends come over, everyone get's into it. It is simple to assemble and all ages can join in the fun.

I do recommend getting additional sets as the more parts, the better!

We received the Cranium Super Fort as a Christmas gift for my 4 and 6 year old sons. Not only did they love it, but my 14 year old niece and her friend played with it for hours--and even got my "always cool" nineteen year old nephew to join in. What I love about the fort is that even my 4 year old can easily assemble it himself. We've gotten toys before that take so much effort on the parent's part that they really don't allow the kids to be creative. Not so the Super Fort. My kids work together to create any number of different combinations--then call me in to inspect and enjoy. Sometimes I have to ask if I can help, because it's so much fun. The magnet connectors work great. I've never been able to ge the tarps to look as nice as they do in the pictures on the box, but I'm the only one who seems to care about that.

This is good imaginary play for my 4 year old grandson. He loves the fort, and spent a lot of time in it when we first put it up, he doesn't grasp the idea of re working it to a different disign. But over all it is better than having to hang blankes over chairs to make him forts when he comes over.
