Allosaurus

My son loves the Imaginext dino collection. He has almost all of them. They're durable, fun and educational.

The quality is fabulous ~ these are so durable!!! I feel they are reasonably priced too. They move via a lever or a button and even hold up to a nightly bath with my 4 yo. He finally has found a toy that he keeps playing with & playing with!

My son (5) got "Razor" the T-Rex's for his birthday, and instantly loved it. Actually, he got two and exchanged one of them for "Slasher" the Allosaurus. They are great toys and are very durable, my 1 and 3 yr old sons also love them.

This is a great set, and is wonderful for kids who are interested in dinosaurs. However, I do have a problem with Imaginext's choice of Thunder the Brontosaurous as the name Brontosaurous is now known to be incorrect. It's confusing to try and teach children the correct names of each dinosaur, and then have a toy incorrectly named.

Slasher the Allosaurus is colored like a tiger, because he is colored orange with dark stripes. He comes with a cave amn, a seat rest, a trilobite and a spear. Slasher is very durable. He has a triggerr under his tail that makes his claws move. I rate this toy thumbs way up!!!!!!

We got both the TRex and the Allosaurus. Our boy loves them both, but for the extra five bucks the TRex is about twice as big and it roars. So if you're only buying one, I'd go with TRex.
