| Perfect for my 4 year old! |
We got these skates for my daughter's birthday and even though she's not a great skater yet, she loves skooting around in these skates. The skates are high quality and sturdy. They support the ankle like rollerblades and are easy to put on and fasten (she puts them on but she can't fasten them herself yet.) Plus, they feature Dora so of course she loves them! |

| Dora Adjustable Quad Skates |
These skates were great. My 4 year old is skating around the living room on carpet and learning how to skate. My 8 year old niece came over and she loved them too. They are easy to use and make learning easy too. |

| Excellent combination of glide and stability |
Overall, great product for my 4 and 1/3 year old (J10-13). She wore them for three days straight after Christmas!
Pros:
- Wheels glide enough but not too much. My daughter falls down very little yet can still glide a little. (Unlike other "kids skates" which have no glide whatsoever and your kids just walk around with hunks of plastic strapped to their feet) If you put the skates on the floor and give them a they roll about 12 inches before stopping.
- The size of the skate actually changes. The front of the plastic boot slides in and out.
- The seem fairly durable and comfortable.
- Dora + 4 year olds, do I need to say more?
Cons:
- The straps in the photo are misleading. They are not buckle straps like on ski boots or inline skates which allow you to set the length of the strap and then close the buckle for a secure fit. The "buckle" looks like it should flip up and down but doesn't. You secure it by squeezing the shoe with your hands and shortening the strap like you would a zip tie. This does not allow for a very snug fit, but I haven't had any problems with the skates coming off when my kid is using them.
Overall, the best kid skates I have come across.
