Yamaha YPT400MS Portable Electronic Keyboard with 61 Full Size Touch Sensitive Keys and Keyboard Stand

The keyboard is just what I wanted. The stand is a dud. It came minus a necessary screw and has a wrong-sized foot bar so is unusable. This is a big inconvenience. I would recommend the keyboard but forget the use of the stand!

Receive my order faster than I expected. Excellent shipping speed. This is the first time buying digital keyboard. Love the quality built as well as it sounds for the cost I paid. Played at the maximum volume, sound got distorted a little, but it doesn't bother us.

I just recieved my YPT-400 a couple of days ago and everything went smoothly. It was shipped promply and arrived when promised and everthing intact and accounted for. You have to put the stand together, which was a breeze. The stand has stops for the keyboard which the one I got with my Casio did not, so the keyboard does not slide around. The sounds
of the Yamaha compared to the Casio (CTK 671 which I think they stopped making) is like day and night) I bought the Yamaha for my wife for her Birthday, and she loves it, especially the education feature. It really is almost a professional grade keyboard. All the songs loaded and plus the ones you can download on it are really pretty cool and sound great and you can turn off any instrument of the song in order to play yourself. I think anyone starting out would to play this thing, you can sound like a professional in no time at all. The accompanyment sound are tight and better than the casio. All and all, a great deal for the money and I think an overall better keyboard than the Casio's I've owned and own, and might have to get my own to stop being jealous of my wifes.

I was looking for a keyboard for my 8 yr old daughter to practice piano lessons (she just started lessons). I did not want to spend a fortune since I don't know if she will stick to this activity or not. I read a lot of reviews, researched, and ultimaately decided to buy this package since it came with the keyboard, stand, and power supply. I was nervous about the stand because of some of the comments. I have not had any issues and found it very easy to assemble. For the price, I am extremely pleased. The keyboard has many more functions than we need at this point and my daughter is loving to practice.

I purchased this for my son a few months ago since he's been taking piano lessons. I chose this over a traditional piano for space saving reasons. Wow...this keyboard is amazing and lots of fun. Its light and very portable and has a wonderful demo lessons. Everyone in the family fights over who gets to us it. The grand piano feature sounds so authentic that even my sons piano teacher thought we owned the real thing. This keyboard gets 5 thumbs up :)
