| The Emancipation of Mimi Part 2 |
yes, this album feels like a continue from the last album. and it works. i love this cd. it honestly is mariah best work in years. now lets get to the point, i dont think there really a huge song as good as We Belong Together from the last album. there really is no we belong together type of song here. i know people expect there to be, but im ok with it. its still a good cd |

| Mariah and Einstein? |
Hmm, the only questions is what Mariah Carey's plastic pop and Einstein's physics have in common. Maybe the title is supposed to give the Mariah product more gravity. Typical for these days to give shallow work more substance through superficial tagging. |

| The more I listen the more I love E=MC2! |
This record is not a typical Mariah record. Its edgy in keeping with TEOM but with some surprises. The album opens with the killer hip hop laced cut Migrate. The beat and lyrics are fantastic. Next is her number 1 hit Touch My Body which is a playful song about keeping a romance under wraps. Next is probably my favorite cut right now Cruise Control. This cut was unexpected because it features Damian Marley. Mariah has never dabbled in reggae before and I love it. She even speaks in a Jamaican accent in the song! Next are I Stay In Love followed by Side Effects (a song about her ex husband) the lyrics are almost shocking by indicating "violent times" in her first marriage. From there I must say I haven't gotten into the rest of the tracks yet other than Bye, Bye but they are growing on me. All in all E=MC2 is not as good as TEOM but its still a good record and sadly she doesn't vocalize as much as she did on TEOM so that will fuel the haters who say she's lost her voice. All you have to do is listen to her last record to know that's not true but whatever. Anyway I recommend the record and I was glad to see Mariah try some new things. Mimi will always rule! |

| Interesting, catchy |
I don't normally listen to R&B, but something about this CD has really hooked me. I haven't put my finger on it yet, but "Migrate" is worth buying the whole album. I can't stop listing to that one. |
