I recently purchased a heavy duty pickup truck and it is taller than my husband's truck. It was difficult for me to reach into the bed of the truck without opening the tailgate and climbing in. This was even more of a problem whenever I needed to hook up my gooseneck horse trailer, so I decided to purchase a tire step. It has definitely eliminated my problem of accessing my truck bed. It fits very securely over the tire and the tread on the step assures you that you won't slip off. It folds up fairly compactly, so I keep the step in the back of my truck cab behind the seat so it is there whenever I need it. It is a little heavy, and you have to watch your fingers when you open & close it, but this product is definitely handy to have. |
