| Still at the top of its game. |
Since its return in 2005 Doctor Who has seen consistantly good story telling with several stories nominated for (and winning) top Sci-Fi awards. This series is no different. The two parter "Human Nature/Family of Blood" and the single episode "Blink" have both been nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form. This is the same category that Steven Moffat, the author of "Blink", has one each of the last two years with his Doctor Who stories.
The nice thing about this set is that even the worst story is more entertaining then just about anything else going and the best ones are simply stunning. The acting, music and production values merge to create stories that are almost literally breathtaking. Who'd ever have thought that you could get emotionally invested in a giant rubber head?
With the introduction of a new companion we do get some recapping of the overall premise so this is a nice place to start if you've never seen Doctor Who before. So stop reading this and get to watching! You'll be glad you did. |

| Allons-y! |
Tennant really hits his stride as the Doctor this season, and Martha Jones (Agyeman) is a great companion. There are some great episodes this season, including visiting Shakespeare and "a Platoon of Jidoon on the Moon". I highly recommend it if you a fan of great sci-fi that's also clean and funny. |

| Doctor Whos is the best show ever |
Well at first I was a skeptic that Freema Agyeman wasn't going to be good, or wouldn't even fit into the show, but I was wrong, she did an awesome job, not good as Rose though but still this season was awesome, you learn alot about Captain Jack and The Doctor |

| Little different but still great product |
I did not read the fine print I guess. Came within the time frame. Actual DVD's are great quality crystal clear. Just disappointed in packaging. DVD cases are not good one is cracked and doesn't close the others barely hold together also there are no graphics on any of the packaging. I am hopeing these are not pirated. Wouldn't want to break the law. Actual DVD's are great. Would proably buy from this vendor again. But will get new cases on my own. |

| Great, but . . . |
I love Doctor Who, and David Tennant is great as the Docter, but I have to disagree with the radioactivly glowing reveiws about this season. I bought the first two seasons, but I'm not that interested in buying this third season. That's why I gave this third season 4 stars instead of 5. The reason? While the third season shows are generally better than ever when it comes to suspense, the stories themselves aren't really worth watching over and over again. So, suspense up, long-term storyline interest down. |
