Summary: Review: Rating:
A simply OUTSTANDING season...
"Bones" is my favourite series, and that is a lot to say, because I watch quite a few :)

If you are also a fan of this series, you know what I'm talking about, and it's highly likely you have already decided to buy this dvd because you know for a fact that season 3 was simply outstanding. I'm going to do exactly that, too.

If you haven't heard about this tv show, stop losing time: run to the nearest videostore and rent season 1. But just in case you want to know a little more about this tv show before trusting my advice, below you will find a short description of the story.

"Bones" stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance Brennan, a bright, beautiful and somewhat nerdy forensic anthropologist that works for the Jeffersonian and writes novels in her free time. Temperance and some of her coworkers somehow end up helping the FBI to solve old crimes. Their contact is an FBI agent called Seely Booth (David Boreanaz), and even though they don't see eye to eye at first, they end up making a strange but oddly charming team. Each episode follows Temperance (or "Bones", as Seely calls her) and her unlikely partner as they try to solve a crime, but some plots threads link several episodes.

If you think you will like an excellent drama/comedy/action/suspense tv show, with an intelligent plot, good dialogue and more than a sprinkle of dark humor, give this series a try. I'm almost sure you will become a fan...

Highly recommended...

Used to be my favorite show
*Spoiler* Bones used to be one of my two favorite shows, but the last episode made no sense and was so absurd, I don't even like to watch the reruns of any of the seasons. Every time I see Zack in any of the episodes, my mind goes back to that last episode in the 3rd season and I wonder what the writers were thinking??? and I lose track of the episode I'm watching. That ending was totally ridiculous and unbelievable. In both my and my husband's minds, they've spoiled the show now and I don't want to buy this season, I'm also sorry we wasted our money on the first two seasons because now I can't enjoy watching them like I did before. Well, now I have ONE favorite show and this is NOT it.

Love the Bones!
Can't wait until the 3rd season is released on DVD. I agree with the other reviewers in that the 3rd season's plots were both good and bad. However, my main reason for watching is the excellent chemistry between David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. Booth & Bones are the best non-couple on TV and their interplay is even better than the TV couples who ARE together. I love the banter, the looks they give each other, and most importantly, what each teaches the other. I look forward with much enthusiasm to Season 4. I know Zack will be back for a limited time so maybe they'll have heeded the outcry and try to make some sense of that plot stinker. Bones deserves more recognition from the mainstream press and the Emmys. Enjoy!
