Good value for the price.
Only drawback is that my laptop could not supply
enough power for the drive to work reliably, even
with power from 2 USB ports. Had to buy an external
power adapter to supply power to the drive. |

| Performs as Advertised |
The CD drive on my six year old Dell pooped out for no apparent reason and rather than spend big money to replace or fix it or replace the entire system, I tried this as a quick fix. It works fine and saved me time, money and stress.I made a good choice and am very pleased. |
