Samsung LN-T375H 37" Widescreen LCD HDTV w/Integrated ATSC Tuner

I really like this Samsung for it's swivel base and headphone jack. Also has a very good picture for HD and DVD's. But over the air/cable reception (w/comcast) is almost unwatchable. I have a Panasonic Plasma which leaves the Samsung in the dust for clarity of "standard" broadcasts. I also received a few free HD channels without a cable box and some free on demand ones BEFORE I ordered cable with on demand. Comcast computers now block any free over the air HD channels when rerouting them into cable, if you order the on demand box.

Bought this TV 5 months ago from amazon. The picture quality and sound are excellent. It's pretty much good to go right out of the box. The built in ATSC tuner gives you all of your over the air HD stations. (No box needed) The High Definition itself looks vibrant and clear and the SRS Trusurround Xt speakers make you feel like your right in it. The remote can be programmed for your Dvd, VCR, or a Set top box. You can connect just about anything to this TV. It has 3 HDMI slots, a USB port(wiselink) (great for viewing pictures from a digital camera) and a PC terminal (if you want to use this TV as a PC monitor)

For me, This TV even picks up what my neighbors are watching on-demand.
weird to see them fast forwarding and stopping in the middle of movies and shows but it's an added perk if your able to catch a full program uninterrupted. Basically it picks up anything it can find over the air (even HD)(I hope that glitch sticks around for a while)
(maybe I shouldn't have said that)


There are also a bunch of cool menu and remote settings with this TV. They give you a lot of audio and video options so you can tinker with this TV until your satisfied with everything. (you shouldn't really need to change much with this TV but the options are nice)

If I had one complaint it is The picture-in-picture option which works if you connect a dvd player through the HDMI slot or a PC but doesn't let you view 2 cable/TV stations at the same time. Although, not too many TV's have that option.

I connected this set to my cable box yesterday, and after adjusting the pre-set factory settings a bit, was in awe when I saw the crystal clear picture when I tuned into the high definition channels. Since I sit approximately 7 feet from the TV, the 37" size is perfect for me. I don't know why many manufacturers do not make the 37" size, but luckily, Samsung does. I highly recommend this TV.

Looks nice and picture/sound are very good compared to other HDTVs in 37 inch size. I purchased for great price at Costco via a sale ($999), but it is otherwise hard to find in retail stores/online. Only complaint is the 2 second delay and short musical tune when power turned on or off. Surprisingly not ranked on Consumer Reports fall 2007 review for 37" TVs but all other Samsung sizes rate high and the picture quality looks similar.
