| Day care |
I use this monitor in my day care along with two other "older" types of monitors. The fact that this monitor uses different frequencies makes it possible for me to use three monitors at a time. The only thing I find to be a little bit negative about the monitor is that even when set at the highest setting for volume it is not as loud as I would like. For parents this would probably not even be an issue, I have plenty of "background" noise to deal with. The lights that come on help to confirm that I did indeed hear the baby. |

| Philps SCD 589 baby monitor |
I purchased this item for use in Australia. Unfortunately the monitor does not have multi voltage power packs, but it was easy to replace the power packs to 240 volts AC and it was well worth it since this is such a good monitor... I've been using this item now for a few weeks and it is very good. |

| Best monitor we've used |
We have had several monitors (Graco two room; Sony one room) and they all had quite a bit of interference (the Graco to the point we couldn't use it). This one is great (yes, expensive) but worth it. |

| Best TwoWay Monitor on the Market |
We bought this monitor for our 3 year old, knowing that when she grows out of needing it we can use it with our 7 month old son. She loves that daddy can turn on lullabies and a light from downstairs and loves being able to talk to us and have us be able to respond without being in the room. We have a 900mHz monitor in the next room over and neither causes interference with the other. It is a truly awesome product!!! We tried the Moby and returned it because it had a really short battery life and made a lot of noise when it turned on. It picked up the slightest noises and kept us awake at night. We don't have that problem with this one! It's pricey but totally worth it! |

| Best Monitor Ever! |
We have bought all kinds of monitors, cheap and expensive. This is hands down the best. The reception is very clear and, as they advertise, there is absolutely no interference. It is worth the money.
It is true that a battery charge does not last a long time, so you have to be dilligent about charging it. |
