| In your Pocket when you need it |
I love this thing. Anytime I'm going somewhere I think I might excessively use my iPhone, I just slip this thing in my pocket, and I never have to worry about over using my iPhone! Since I bought it, this little mini battery has saved my but at least 8 times. It is small enough that I can put it in my back pocket and forget about all day or night until I might need it. But powerful enough that I can get about a 90% charge again without having to leave my iPhone plugged up to a wall, where who knows what could happen to it.
If you are going on a hiking trip (I use my GPS a lot for that), a friends house for a day (lots of Photos) or maybe just got invited to a last minute party, but don't have time to charge you iPhone, than you be very happy you had this battery with you. |

| Works Good, But BEWARE |
I agree with all previous reviews, but one thing it doesn't tell you is NOT to charge your iphone and the battery at the same time. After 3 weeks of doing this it fried the battery where now it wont even hold a charge for 10 minutes...Kensington replaced the battery free of charge, but just keep that in mind before charging the battery and the phone at the same time. |

If you plan to use your iPhone for music, gaming or videos on a cross-country flight, this will ensure that you arrive with battery power to spare when you arrive. The dock connector on the battery exender and the mini-USB to USB cord supplied with this product means that you can leave your plug-in charger at home and recharge both the iPhone and the Battery Extender from your laptop. I have an Apple Store two blocks from my office and they have nothing like this available (and should)!

| OK but there are better... |
I tried this Kensington, actually borrowed one, and compared it to a RichardSolo Backup Battery I bought here on Amazon. The RichardSolo packs a little more power (1200mAh compared to 1000mAh) and the Kensington does not include a free wall charger like the RichardSolo. The wall charger greatly adds to the convenience. Check it out before you buy one. |
