| HORRIBLE Paper Feeder (ADF)- Rarely Works |
We've used this machine at work primarily for sending and receiving faxes and the rare color copy job. We replaced our previous HP (only 9 months old) for a very similar reason this one might be going in the trash for. Our original HP AIO would grab multiple pages at a time. You could follow their tech support suggestions and it would work fine two times after and then back to pulling multiple pages. This particular machine (only 6 months old) pulls the pages through the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) crooked 7 out of 10 times. In the process of pulling the pages crooked, it almost always destroys your original. Using the blank paper cleaning treatment, the documents still pull crooked, but not nearly as bad as when your trying to actually use the machine for its intended purpose. I contacted tech support and walked through these steps once before. The machine worked for a month before it started acting up again. Now that process does not fix the problem at all. Where did the plain jane simply (not AIO) fax machines go? Why is it that none of their machines are made with easily movable/removable parts to help you get your jammed document out when almost all of them are prone to this problem? DON'T BUY! |

| Works Beautifully with Mac OS X Leopard! |
I've been using this printer for a few days, and I wanted to make sure I tested out all the features before I wrote a review. This isn't your typical multi-function, where the printer is good but the scanner sucks or vis versa. All of the features on this printer are top notch. I copy/printed a photo and when I handed both the original and the print back to the person who requested them- it was difficult to tell which was which. It's also very refreshing to FINALLY have a multi-function where all of the features work for Mac. Even the direct file feature, which I thought for sure would be Windows only, works very will with the Mac. The best part of this machine is that you can completely manage how you want to scan/copy/print/send to iPhoto etc.. easily with the screen and navigation butons. The only con is that it's a big printer, so you'll need a big desk or a dedicated printer stand. |

| Superb |
This is my eighth hp printer in fifteen years and they just keep getting better. I also found that it takes about ten mins. to refill all of the cartridges with a huge amount of ink. I found a company that makes after market ink cartridges that reset the chip every time you refill them. Sweet! |

| Horrible! |
I need an all in one printer for home and business use. I have purchased and returned FOUR of these now, each having similar errors. The first one worked the longest, a whole week and a half! When the paper jammed the L7650 displayed a "printer head error" advising that you must replace a printer head - to the tune of $75. This happened on two of the four machines. Another error advised me I needed to replace various ink cartridges (also expensive). One of the four did not work at all, straight out of the box! One was missing the installation disc.
I have spent countless hours with HP on how to troubleshoot the errors. In the end, their advice is to buy the next model up since this one is prone to so many problems. They offered to send a box and have the printer shipped back to them for repair and they would return it in 10-14 days. Unacceptable to me with my business needs. Why should I have to send a brand new printer back for repair?? It should be functional at the time of purchase!
Unfortunately, I am stuck with exchanging this printer weekly to my local warehouse store because it is the only model they have and I refuse to be out $400 until they replace their stock with a better model. To add insult to injury, I'm out another $200 on ink cartridges and printer heads,as well as gas and time going back and forth to exchange them.
If I could give this product NO stars, I would. Horrible, just horrible. |

| Great Machine-Horrible mac Support |
I bought this printer and was very pleased with it. I upgraded to Leopard and it bricked everything. HP's response, "We're working on it but have no date when it will be available." If you are running Leopard DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. |
