| Not for occasional Canadian use |
It performs well and I would back most all the good stuff written by the other reviewers. However, if you at anytime think you may want to use it in Canada, spend the extra $20 and the the Nuvi 250. The only way to get Canadian street data is to purchase the Canadian card from Garmin at around $70. You can buy the yearly North American map update for $59, but you will not be able to un-lock the Canadian portion. Only the Lower 48 states will load. |

We used our sons nuvi to drive to Trenton, GA at Easter, what a treat. It made our life so much easier. I usually do the map reading while my husband does all the driving.This decreased my stress level by 99%. We still took printed directions and maps with us in case, since we had never used a GPS before. When we got home I purchased one for my husband for our anniversary. Wouldn't leave home without it. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service from amazon. Our nuvi arrived much faster than we anticipated. |

| Good gps for good price |
This is my first gps. I got it for a very good price. It's works really well and gives good directions. Only problem I have is that it's not current. It doesn't show directions to areas that are more than a year old. |
