| Good Quality, Impressed So Far |
I've only used this for about a month or so, but so far I've been fairly impressed. I've read other reviews that said the case is too big for a small (2.5 in) external hard drive. While that is true, it's not bigger by a whole lot. It's not snug, but it's not constricting. I would say it is made of good quality and should last a long time. |

| Durable and Stylish Case |
I bought this case for a WD Passport external hard drive and so far it has been a great product. As is pointed out in several of the other reviews, the case is a bit too wide and tall for the newer, smaller drives but it hasn't been a problem for me yet.
My only issue is that the cable included with the case is both very short (too short to be useful) and very sensitive to being bumped. It was a large enough problem for me that I bought a new cable. Fortunately though, the side pocket is easily large enough to hold a good sized cable and close without issue. |

| Too large for Western Digital Passport |
I got this case because Amazon seemed to always join it with the WD Passports. Nice little case, but much too large for the Western Digital Passport. I suggest the actual case that Western Digital sells. That one is perfect. |

Portable case to portable hd, I buy it with a western digital and it fits perfect, not too tight, not too loose.

| A Logical Choice for Hard Drives, Flip Video or iPod! May 2008 |
I originally bought this case for my new external La Cie hard drive, but it was too small for it.
So instead I'm using it for extra protection for both my Flip Video camcorder and my large iPod, for whenever I travel. Case Logic continues to make some very good products and this is one of them. Here are the high-lights:
* This Black Compact case stores small portable hard drives, camcorders & iPods
* It's slimline-design easily fits into any camera gadget bags, backpack or briefcase
* It does have a durable, hardshell exterior with a Zippered closure.
* Features an Interior strap, although it could have been placed on the backing for a tighter
control in keeping items in place more securely; the other side has a web-style pocket,
like a camera bag.
* Cons - It doesn't have an external 'anchors' that I could use to attach it to my belt, camera
bags or back pack. The Interior Elastic strap could be stronger & more secure, as I think
over time it will become a bit flimsy. + Water-proofing would have been nice! |
