| Jams constantly |
I have had this printer now for going on a year. I have had it in for repair once. Print quality is good and the duplexing works fine. The big negative is it jams constantly. At least once every ten pages and often times more often. I have experimented with different weight papers to no avail. I can not recommend this printer. |

| A real money-saver. |
I bought this printer two years ago because I was tired of buying ink cartridges for my inkjet every 2-3 months. I had a laser printer at work and the toner cartridge lasted about a year. I bought an extra toner cartridge with this printer. However, after two years, I still haven't replaced the original toner cartridge! My daughter does a lot of printing of papers for school, pictures for projects, maps for directions and so forth. I am a teacher and do things at home. I like the duplex printing. I only gave it four stars because I can't manually feed in an envelope or labels. I have to take out the paper tray and put them in there. The printer has paid for itself by my not having to buy print cartridges for two years. |

| Short-time pretty good |
We have been very pleased with this printer. A good product at a reasonable price. However it stopped working after less than a year of daily use. It was cheaper to buy a new one than to get it repaired.
Another printer to recycling. Oh Brother! What do we have to pay to get one that lasts more than a year? |

| Bought it for the duplexer and it jams constantly |
The only reason I bought this printer was the duplexer. Otherwise I could have purchased any number of <$100 printers that have otherwise identical specifications.
However, the duplexer on this printer is terrible. It curls the pages and jams frequently. Unjamming it is easy but time consuming and wastes paper.
As a simplex printer it is an unremarkable inexpensive laser printer. |

| great printer |
I've only had this a few weeks, but so far I love it. Fast, able to duplex. I haven't figured out all I hope to do on it, bookleting - at the right size, and such. But so far I'm VERY happy with what I am able to do, and the quality. I print a lot of books - both ebooks and downloaded out of print books that have been scanned. So this machine will no doubt get a pretty good workout. So far no jams or anything. My dh did comment on how light it was. I guess he was expecting a full size copy machine :-)
I've been looking at this for quite a while, and was thrilled at Amazon's price. The best by FAR at the time I got it. |
