| The prototype for explaining Christianity |
Most Trinity books simply replay the same issues over and over. Thankfully, this book finally gets to the bottom of what has been a Christian Achilles heel for centuries. Bosse approaches this topic from a different perspective and finishes by providing the reader a thorough and full understanding, without the mystery that the Trinity is famous for.
What the Nicene Council failed to include in its doctrine of the Trinity, this book fills in the blanks. Any individual desiring to understand the Trinity, now can. Every church should use the contents of this book to upgrade their knowledge of the Trinity. If you are a Christian and read any book this year, be sure to place this one at the top of your list. |

| The Unveiling of the Trinity |
The Unveiling of the Trinity: A Biblical Account of the Mystery Revealed is the author's interpretation of the meaning and purpose of the Trinity. This interpretation is based upon a few key beliefs of the author, those that he upholds and teaches in his ministerial work.
Most prevalent of these beliefs is that the Trinity is a representation of the three aspects of God (God as the father, God as the son, and God as the Holy Spirit). The author explains the differences between these three aspects using various symbolic associations such as the various qualities of water. This portion of the book is extremely well written and explained in various ways for readers to understand the differences between these three aspects of God.
To the author, however, the three aspects of the Trinity are literal and completely true as is every part of the bible. The author states that if one part of the bible is untrue then the rest might also be untrue. Therefore, the entire bible must be taken as a whole as complete unequivocal truth. Much of this book explains and quotes passages of the bible, particularly genesis and the original sin to reinforce this key point.
Those readers upholding a Christian creationist view of the world will find this book comforting. Likewise, those readers interested in exploring or studying the views of Christian creationists will find this book enlightening. Conversely, those readers with alternative or non-Christian beliefs and those readers looking for a historical study of the Trinity, information about Trinity symbolism in various religions, or symbolism behind the Trinity may not find this book useful.

| Beneficial Ai for Any Bible Study Group |
The subject of the Trinity is not an easy one to tackle. It is a confusing concept that has bewildered many since it was defined and introduced by the early Christian Church. In his new book, `The Unveiling of the Trinity,' author Tom Bosse sets out to clarify what is meant by the term and how it fits into the lives of those who embrace it.
For those who are not familiar with the concept, I will include Bosse's definition: "The Trinity is a distinctive doctrine, which declares that one God exists in three Persons. These three manifestations of God are presented in the Bible as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost (sometimes referred to as the Holy Spirit). They are not three different people, but they are expressed as three Persons in one God, or one God revealed in three ways."
Within the pages of his book, Bosse takes on such subjects as the Virgin Birth, Mary's motherhood of Jesus, the divinity and humanity of Jesus and the essence of man. He examines Christianity as well as eight other world religions, exploring how the Trinity fits into each and coming to the conclusion that Christianity is set apart by its belief in the Trinity. The author unveils the Trinity by establishing a Biblical foundation for the doctrine. He says, "The Bible is full of God's personality and character, and they are open and visible to us when we seek them."
As a lay minister and a student of the Bible for more than 25 years, it is evident that Bosse has studied the subject of the Trinity and has found Biblical references to back his belief in it, but as I was reading this book - since I am also a Bible-believing Christian - I found myself wondering if people who do not believe in the Bible would be convinced by the author's logic. The discussion set forth in the book comes from the premise that the reader believes in the tenets of the Bible. If this is not the case, I am not sure readers would be receptive to the message.
Having said this, `The Unveiling of the Trinity' would be a beneficial aid to any Bible study group meeting to discuss the Trinity. It references many Scriptures and offers a chapter by chapter analysis of the topic. It sparks discussion and debate and invites in-depth reflection on the nature of God and man.

| A Composite Look at the Doctrine of the Trinity |
Tom Bosse's purpose in this book is to establish a foundation to help the reader understand the concept of the trinity. His writing is, clear, direct, and in a layman's language. However, because of the nature of the subject matter a thorough reading is needed for perceptive understanding.
Bosse traces the Trinity from Genesis to Revelation. He provides insight into specific Scripture passages in an effort to replace the mystery of the Trinity. The book is Biblically based. The author's commentary and interpretation some times differ from traditional teaching. This may create controversy; however a careful reading will allow the reader to discern truth from conjecture.
The author has developed the material in a logical manner and has presented it in a style that is eye appealing and easily assimilated. A unique feature of the book is the chapter summary. These summaries provide the reader with a concise synopsis of the topic covered. This brief review reinforces the theme of the chapter.
Bosse has been true to the gospel throughout the book and clearly presented the message of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
This is a book for the astute reader. I recommend it for anyone doing a serious study on the Trinity. The book lends itself to both individual and class study.

| Undeniably the answer to the mystery of the Trinity |
I approached this book with skepticism, but also with anticipation. I endeavored before reading the book, to lay aside what tradition had taught me and to be open minded. That was truly the right approach because "The Unveiling of the Trinity" did not void what I had been taught, but filled in the gaps and made the Trinity comprehensible.
The Trinity is presented from a realistic viewpoint. As Bosse points out; the creation of man is summed up in 27 words in Genesis verse 2:7, but we find many Scriptures verses in other places of the Bible that provide clues and answers to that event. Likewise, Bosse applies that same scenario to the Trinity by confirming that the Trinity was never a mystery to begin with, but either apparently was overlooked by thosands of Bible scholars, or God withheld its revelation from us until these last days.
The book answers many questions, which up until this time could not be answered because of the mystery. In sorting out the puzzle to the mystery, Bosse reveals the element that resticted our understanding of the Trinity.
In the first two chapters, he lays the foundation. From there, he builds on that foundation from Genesis to Revelation with everything needed to understand the Trinity, minus the mystery. The Trinity is illustrated in both Old and New Testaments with illuminating Scripture accounts regarding Christ's time on earth as well as His present time in heaven.
This book is certain to cause controversy because of the subject matter. Still, it contains the only possible answer to the mystery, and is easy to read and understand. I highly recommend this book to everyone both Christain and non-Christian, but before you read it, leave your traditions and preconceived notions behind. |
