| last lecture |
Randy Pausch is, and should be, an inspiration to us all. Even though the lecture was for his children, all of us can learn something here. I did make only a 3 star due to the uncut pages in the book, the publisher did not even out the margin of the pages--kind of like a book club edition. |

| Common Sense with an Ample Dose of Humor |
After hearing about Randy and his plight, I decided to purchase his book and see what advice he had for the world before his condition got the better of him.
For the most part, the book is all about common sense. It is especially sweet to know that there is someone out there who honestly believes all this stuff...be kind to others, treat them with respect, etc. It is a feel-good book that has a lot of lessons to teach.
It is an easy read with several pictures of the family. It's not very long, but I feel good to donate to his family.

| An Amazing Person |
I have always been drawn to personal stories about someone who has the amazing ability to face adversity and rise above it.
Randy Pausch's story is no different. It is told with much thought and his amazing ability to face his life and make the best with what life has dealt him. I found it both humorous and heart wrenching. He truly loves life, his family and all those who are fortunate to know this man personally.
In my opinion it is people like Randy and many more who are the true heroes and are people who truly inspire others. |
