| The Most Difficult Book I've Ever Been Through |
5 Stars? Absolutely. Amazing writing, fantastic sequel to 'Twilight?' Completely.
That being said, this is THE most difficult book I have ever made my way through. It created for me an emotional roller coaster--through most of the book I found myself sobbing as I shared in Bella's pain and confliction, and as I wondered what would come next and how all would be resolved.
I couldn't put it down, but please be warned--as amazing as 'New Moon' is, your heart and your tear ducts will feel raw and vulnerable the entire time.
It's worth it. But I will NEVER read this book again. I couldn't possibly put myself, or my favorite characters, through so much pain ever again. |

| I enjoyed it |
I first have to say I am not a teen.My niece a teen is a big fan of the books and got me curious. I am also not a fan of vampire and werewolves movies. But this book hooked me and I found it interesting. It was easy reading, discriptive without being scary. The characters hooked me and I kept reading eventually all 4 of the series of books. |

Loved this book. And you will really feel the pain and sorrow that Bella goes through while trying to survive. |

| Well written |
As with Twilight, you must be a romantic to appreciate. This book is just so well written. It is the only book I have read in recent memory that made me cry! |

| Somewhat disgusted... |
After reading Twilight, I had high hopes for New Moon but soon found myself VERY disappointed. Edward leaves Bella in the effort to giver her a normal life. I don't understand why he thought she would live so easily without him. He clearly stated that he didn't want to live without her and she is WAY more obsessed with him than he is of her so why did he assume she would be ok? Alice even told him that she would not be ok! The fact is that she definitely wasn't ok. She was severly depressed and ANNOYING! The fact that she is so obsessed and dependent on Edward makes me want to vomit. Get a backbone, Bella. He left you...get mad and do something about it. When Edward does reappear she's not even upset with him. She's more than happy to take him back. She tells him that it wasn't his fault at all when in reality it is. By the end of this, I was not a very big fan of Bella. Jacob was great...the best friend one could ask for. Right now, I'm leaning more towards Jacob than Edward. Edward is controlling and stubborn(even though I still love him) but Jacob is sweet kind and realistic. I'm going to have to say that SM could have done a better job with this book.
