NARS Lipstick

This is quite simply the creamiest, most beautiful lipstick I have ever purchased. It lasts longer than most and the mositure in it actually makes my lips look fuller. I've recommended this lipstick to everyone and so many people genuinely adore it.

I have the shade "Roman Holiday" which is such a super sexy shade on my medium-light skin. The hue also looks like it would be so beautiful and feminie on someone with fairer skin. I just can't see this shade looking awful on anyone, but it may be too baby-doll pink for some.

Another reviewer was right when she said that the color swatches on Amazon don't do these colors any justice . . . so check out Sephora.com for better color accuracy.

You really can't go wrong with this lipstick and it feels so good without any waxy lipstick taste.

It may seem pricey, but it is absolutely worth it. It will stay a favorite of mine forever.

I have so many different kinds and brands of lipstick. But this is one of my favs. I got "spanish red" and its a beautiful deep red/brown color. Compliments me and I am fair skinned with auburn hair and green eyes. Sort of reminds me of the old vintage 40s and 50s shade of lipsticks. Goes on nicely and lasts. A little pricey, but worth it!

Dolce Vita is such a flattering shade! It looks scarily pink in the tube, but it is a great rose when it's on. Definitely my new work lipstick.

I'm getting married next year and just bought several new cosmetics to try them out, one of them being NARS lipstick in Belle du Jour. I absolutely love it. It is the perfect shade by itself to get that totally nude lip look that is so popular (especially when paired with a very dark, dramatic eye). Coupled with a peachy or pink gloss, the look is natural and beautiful. My lips are very sensitive and dry our extremely easily. I wore this lipstick last night and not only did it stay on, but it didn't dry my lips at all... in fact, it feels deliciously moist on my mouth! The price tag is admittedly a little steep, but you pay more for quality, and this NARS lipstick is no exception.

This is a gorgeous, sheer color that should complement any skin tone. I have butterscotch-colored hair with medium-pale skin with a fair amount of pink in it, and this warm berry enhances my natural lip color. The texture is soft and smooth, never sticky or drying. I wear it like lip balm and carry one with me all the time. I also wear NARS Mongolian Red, a semi-matte warm cinnamon red, and Kink, a red with a little more pigment and impact. Too bad both are discontinued. (All look beautiful over NARS Amazon, Borneo, and Papua lip liners.) Next I shall try Vera Cruz, a sheer cinnamon.

These lipsticks not only feel fabulous and have great staying power, they are rated quite safe by the Environmental Workgroup.
