| Expensive for something that never leaves the bathroom |
I don't actually own a Bathina shower cap, but my mom does and I sometimes use hers. It is like all the Bathina products, which are charming, flirty, and pretty. But those qualities are wasted on something you wear only the shower.
Also: sixteen dollars for a shower cap??? You can get perfectly good shower caps for a lot less. Granted, they won't be fancy-shmancy Bathina, but they'll get the job done. My mom's mom would be shocked by my mother's affinity for indulgent luxury items like this. I inherited the pamper-me gene, but my dad's cheapskate gene balances me out.
I often think Benefit is overpriced (though I do buy a few items a year as a treat), and here is the perfect case. |

This is one of the cutest shower caps I've owned, but it didn't keep my hair dry -- the cap kept sliding up my head. Sephora's shower cap also did the same thing, but, at least, it only cost $5. So far, I've found the best shower caps are the complimentary ones I receive when I occasionally stay in a hotel. |
