Britax Frontier Booster Car Seat Rushmore

Including the Frontier, I now own 4 Britax seats. I have never had installation problems in the past. I read all instructions and tried, tried, tried to get this seat installed using latch. I could never get it tight. Can't quite figure it out or explain what was happening. I will call Britax tomorrow to see if they can help. Very disappointed because I was very excited about this seat...

Love the seat! (Dodge Durango with Latch and Tether system)It took us a few minutes to install, if you pull the latch straps through the shell of the seat, makes secure. Took us a minute to figure out. My son fits so well in this seat and he looks so much more comfortable than he did in his Marathon. We love our Marathon (own 2), but didn't want to buy another one for new baby. I was thrilled to get the seat for my almost 3 year old. He is 37 inches tall and 33lbs-- perfect fit for him with so much room to grow.

One thing we like is both sides of the belt click when you buckle in...doesn't do that in my Marathon (both sides of the buckle have to be in and only one side clicks)not in the Frontier each side clicks so you know it is locked in. Also, adjustable crotch buckle-- the buckle lets out to additional slots as the child grows...much easier to buckle child in!

My son also sleeps well in the seat-- works well with a seat that reclines and side impact head rests are comfortable too. He loves getting into his new seat and he also doesn't push on the front seat with his feet any more!

Worth the $$.... very small investment to protect the life of your child!

Recommended to purchase the Kiddopotamus Elite DuoMat to protect leather seats.

We have a Britax Regent for our four and half year old which has been fantastic. It provides him with excellent safety and was rock solid in its installation, so much so that when you rocked it, the whole car moved. We wanted the extra side (head) protection of the Frontier and the added capacity in booster mode up to 100lbs. I was concerned about the installation noting earlier reviews but took the plunge anyway. I am really glad we did because the Frontier installed easily and is as solid in fit as the Regent if not more - the seat seems like it is part of the car and is very, very firmly installed. I am really pleased with the installation and outcome for us so much so that I have ordered three more - one for our younger child and one for each of them in our second car. The long method of installation using the adult seat belt is very similar to the Regent installation and as I said, holds the Frontier very firm. Highly recommended product.

This chair is wonderful! My daughter was using a Britax Marathon before and could have continued using it but my son out grew his infant carrier. So my daughter got a new chair and my son inherited her Marathon.

I love this new chair and so does she. One of the best (non-safety) features is that you don't have to re-thread the straps as they get bigger. You can just raise the headrest and it raises the straps in the harness mode. SO VERY NICE!

But the best part is the peace of mind in knowing this chair is so incredibly safe!

Also, when I first viewed the pictures I was afraid the headrest would stick out and push her head forward and be uncomfortable. But it's just the picture. The actual chair is very comfortable and the headrest doesn't get in the way at all. Its super comfy. I didn't have any problems installing it either. But I also don't plan on moving it from car to car. It's staying right where it is. Once you get them in right, who wants to do it again? But that's pretty much the case with all car seats.

Once again, Britax doesn't disappoint.

I already owned a Britax Wizard, but needed to get a new seat for my child. I was considering the Britax Regent to keep her in a 5 pint harness as long as possible when I saw that they were going to launch the Frontier. We also looked at the Graco Nautilus and has our daughter sit in it at the store. She dwarfed it and she is average for her size. I just did not see her being able to make it 3 more years in the Nautilus. As for the Frontier, for something so expensive, I was leary about buying it online, but no stores had it on stock yet, so I took the plunge. I did read other reviews and was scared that installation would be a problem, but decided to try anyway. I am glad I did. It is worth the money. My daughter fits in it much better. There is more room tht the Nautilus on the sides and it actually takes up a little less space than the Wizard. There is more room at her feet. Since I read the reviews and new how to install it using latch, I did not have any problems with installation. My daughter loves her new big girl seat and we are happy to be able to keep her in a harness longer. I would recommend the seat to others.
