Daniel Green Women's Dormie Slipper Slide

The Daniel Green Dormie Slipper is my favorite houseshoe. I have worn these shoes for years and, although I have tried other styles, I always come back to this one. The price offered by Amazon was excellent, and I did not have to pay shipping. My purchase was most satisfactory in every way.

I don't wear shoes in my house, only slippers. I have been buying the Dormie slippers for decades. They are comfortable and give me enough support. Sometimes, because I wear a popular size, I have trouble getting them,and then have tried other styles or brands with disappointing results.

This was meant to be a nice Christmas gift for my sister and mother, instead, we ended up with empty shoe boxes on our front door because UPS decided to drop it off even though no one was home rather than leave a note saying they would reattempt delivery the next day. Due to this country's economic crisis, it is a common fact that people steal the most around holidays, especially Christmas, and this is what happened to us.

It was quite an ordeal trying to solve this, and had Amazon used another shipping company or spoken to UPS about not leaving packages in view when no one was home, it would have turned out smooth. So my family was left with no Christmas gift (thanks Amazon!) because after looking for over 30 minutes online for a number to call Amazon and report this, I see that they were sold out of this shoe and wouldn't get any for 3 months which was unacceptable. I had to buy them from another website as I was too upset to deal with this again. Amazon, please either stop using UPS or require them to hand the package to a PERSON, not leave it like a piece of candy and expect a kid to not try to grab for it! The 2 stars is meant for my whole experience, I just hope they have changed their policy or I will be hesitant to buy shoes from them again during Xmas.

My mother loves this brand of shoes. I buy her a pair of these every year at Christmas. They have an excellent selection of sizes and colors, and even have wide width.

I always interested in having comfort when I am just tooling around the house so I bought these slippers. I must tell you that I am amazed that these are so so comfortable. They run a little narrow so go up in width if you have to. it didn't bother me much though because I like the coziness of the snug feeling. I feel llike I am walking on pillows everytime I slide my feet into my dormies. I'm moving up to the Glamour II soon so be prepared to read another review.
